Description: Averaging only an inch tall, the general appearance is of a nude human with dragonfly wings. Native to Jupiter with small colonies on other planets in the Sol system.
Abilities: Each Pixie has considerable control over a single element with the more powerful individuals having limited control of related elements (for example a normal lava Pixie controls only lava while a powerful lava type can influence earth and fire) to create weapons and armor or boost related travel speed. (wind Pixies fly faster while water Pixies swim faster and earth Pixies run faster)
Race Persona: Often coming across as a tad wild, Pixies are generally friendly and helpful but few leave the home world with it’s frigid outer atmosphere and scorching hot liquid metallic hydrogen ‘surface’.
Language: Written language resembles kanji while the spoken language sounds like a blend of west European languages
Social Customs: Highly tribalistic, Pixies on the home world will greet you with an invitation to a feast while Pixies encountered elsewhere will often skip a proper greeting in favor of chatting about interests and current events or just sticking to business.
Hierarchy: Both Democratic and tribalistic with an elected Chief at the top followed by the ruling family, the local elected sub-chief, the sub-chief’s family, village natives, and at the bottom are the servants acquired from other villages.
Tech and science: Science is tribalistic at best while tech is just good enough for FTL capable ships.
Transportation: Ships tend to be either saucers or ovoid. Propulsion is ion based while armament is heavy on lasers with a few different missile types thrown in.
